I am a marriage and family therapist associate with training in art therapy. I hope to be part of your journey and collaborate with you on your way to better health. We are all the experts of our own stories in which we can find healing and empowerment.
In therapy, I provide a safe and judgement free environment in which there is collaboration and open communication. I also strive to maintain a genuine connection by understanding what it is the client hopes to achieve or explore in therapy while providing unconditional positive regard.
I have clinical experience in school-based therapy programs and received training in Social Skills Violence Prevention and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I also have clinical experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and facilitating groups with the population to aid in emotional regulation, coping skills, mindfulness, healthy relationships, and everyday life skills.
